Kastro used to be the capital of Sifnos until the 19th century A.D. and it is one of the rare examples worldwide, where the walls of each house, created the outside perimeter of the fortification of the castle.

The property was used in the 18th & 19th century as the Grape Pressing facility of Kastro. Located within a 2 min. walk of Kastro’s restaurants, & 10 min. walk of the beach. The blueprints for the restoration were made by Greek Architect Nikos Valsamakis.

From the living room you also walk into the main bedroom with a double bed, and then onto a secluded back veranda with a 260 degree view of the Aegean and a double hammock.
